Lester Johnson Whitlock (b. Oct. 27, 1892, Piqua, Ohio-d. Oct. 18, 1971), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from university in 1914 and was an enlisted man before receiving a commission in the field artillery in 1917. During the 1920s he served as professor of military science and tactics at the University of Oklahoma and instructor with the New York National Guard. During World War II he served as assistant chief of staff for supply of the Southwest Pacific Area. He retired in 1954. ...
